The recruitment process traditionally falls into 3 steps, Application, Interview & offer, below are a few pointers on each step.
Your CV is the first point of contact you have with a potential employer so present yourself in a positive way outlining your experiences, skills and achievements. Keep you CV to 2-3 pages so you can expand on the details at interview
When you secure an interview with a potential employer it is important to research the company so you have a good understanding of the culture of the business and there values, It is also essential that you arrive in business attire to give a professional image of yourself. Also feel free to ask questions and engage with the interviewer/s.
Once you have secure a position you need to then resign from your current role, we advise not to do this until you have accepted a position by the way of written offer. The best way to resign is to speak to your Manager face to face giving them the reasons for leaving and to ensure that you can leave the business on good terms.
Understand your brief
Probably the most important factor in this process is us understanding your brief. This gives us a clear indication of the required qualifications, experience, skills and personality characteristics you are looking for to fit within the culture of your business. The more detailed information provided enables our trained Consultants to be more selective.
Search & Selection
Our search will consist of our Consultants advertising the position on relevant job boards and also speaking to passive candidates to generate interest. we have a thorough selection process where all potential candidates would of undertaken a detailed assessment against the brief we have. We will then forward candidates to you for review.
Once you have concluded your interview process and have selected a candidate we work with you to ensure that there is open dialogue between all parties during this time. We discuss the offer with the candidate in detail and then assist with with the formal acceptance and resignation process.
On boarding process
We work with you and the candidate to ensure that the journey from resignation to the first day goes smoothly. Our service continues for the first 4 weeks of the employees start date to ensure they settle and enjoy the first few weeks of their new job.
