Job Title: HIAB Hook and Sling Driver

Location: Rochdale

Salary: £18.00 per hour / £20.17 Inc holiday pay

Nights Out Allowance: £25 per night out

Hours: Monday to Friday with occasional nights out

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable HIAB Hook and Sling Driver to join our growing team based in Rochdale. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering and collecting various materials across the UK using a HIAB equipped vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maintain the HIAB crane and vehicle.
• Load and unload materials using appropriate lifting techniques.
• Secure loads correctly and safely for transport.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and collections.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Occasional overnight stays may be required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of experience driving with a valid UK HGV Class 2 licence.
• Proven experience operating a HIAB crane.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• No DR or IN convictions.
