HGV Class 2 Driver

Join Our Team as a HGV Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver – Ongoing with a view of temp to perm

Are you an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver who takes pride in delivering excellent service? We’re looking for a dedicated professional to join our growing logistics operation. This is a hands-on, very physical, customer-facing role, perfect for someone who enjoys being on the road and working as part of a team.

About the Role:

Working alongside a Driver’s Mate, you’ll be responsible for delivering a wide range of drinks products to hospitality venues across the region. From local pubs and restaurants to high-end hotels and event spaces, you’ll play a key role in keeping the industry moving.

Working hours:
Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend work during peak periods such as Christmas and major events)

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure your load is secure before setting off
• Deliver customer orders safely, professionally, and on time
• Communicate with your Driver’s Mate to review delivery routes and order details
• Notify customers of any delivery issues or product shortages
• Unload deliveries on-site, ensuring items are handled with care
• Collect returns such as empty kegs or pallets and return them to the depot correctly
• Follow all health and safety guidelines while on the job
• Keep accurate records via EPOD or delivery notes
• Report any vehicle defects or delays to the transport team
• Stay fully compliant with all relevant driving and tachograph regulations

What We’re Looking For as a HGV Class 2 Driver:

• Minimum 6 months experience driving Class 2 vehicles
• A strong focus on customer service and professional conduct
• Willingness to undergo a DVLA licence check
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude and a flexible approach to work

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: £16.25 per hour
