Ground Maintenance Operative – St Helens

Capital Recruitment are looking for 2 Grounds Maintenance Operatives for our client based in St Helens

Duties:

You will be carrying out general gardening / grounds maintenance duties as follows:

• Grass cutting using pedestrian, hand-held and ride-on machines.
• Strimming
• Hedge trimming
• Shrub maintenance
• Litter picking
• Other similar duties where required

Requirements for the role:

Must have a willing to work outside all day and complete all grounds maintenance type duties.

It would be advantageous to have an NVQ or similar in horticulture or have worked within grounds maintenance before.

Must be willing to work with the Council’s Health & Safety policy.

Hours of Work:

Day shifts – 7.4 hours per day Monday to Friday.
